Is a Private Client Relationship Right for Me?

The biggest misconception regarding Private Client is that you need to be a millionaire. So far from the truth! In reality, Private Client is for individuals who typically have a relationship of $250,000 or more in a banking institution and want that personal banking experience, though that amount may vary from bank to bank. Regardless, the “White Gloves” should remain the same! Private Clients experience a whole new standard of service that goes above and beyond their expectations, offering a vast array of services such as tailored solutions, timely responsiveness, extended hours, and more experienced representatives.

Kearny Bank’s Private Client team believes that we should bring the bank to our clients. We offer a one-stop-shop for all of our clients’ financial needs. Private Bankers focus on being ready and willing to assist our clients as quickly and easily as possible. We aim to be at our clients’ sides as they navigate their finances through different life stages. We’re focused on more than the transaction; we establish a relationship and become our client’s go-to partner for every banking need for them and their families.

Our focus as Private Bankers is to achieve successful initiatives that are created and managed through a team-based approach. We facilitate communication by partnering with our Treasury Management and Lending Teams which aids in our goals of creating, growing, and strengthening client relationships. We serve as the primary point of contact, bringing in professionals where needed from other areas who can add experience and expertise.

Close collaboration between the Private Client team and clients is crucial to not only the client’s convenience, but also to creating a partnership built on trust and implementing a service which rewards them for their relationship and loyalty to Kearny Bank.

Dawn Marcano serves Kearny Bank as Vice President, Private Client Manager. She is tasked with growing the Private Client Division. Private Client is a “bank within a bank” offering unmatched personal attention and customized solutions for High-Net-Worth individuals.

Dawn began her career at Kearny Bank as a teller in 1991. Her talent and dedication were recognized and rewarded with her promotion to Manager of the Wood Ridge office, the Bank’s largest deposit branch. Dawn was sales-oriented and highly successful in growing core deposits. She proved particularly adept at dealing directly with the many High-Net-Worth individuals who utilized the branch. That success made her a natural choice to lead our Private Client effort.
