Reflecting its longstanding commitment to supporting the communities where it conducts business, Kearny Bank has, through its foundation, donated a pair of 60-inch, Hi-Lift First Responder rescue jacks to the Jersey City Fire Department’s Squad Company #4, as well as 36 CMC pulleys to the department’s Rescue Company #1.
“The equipment that enables us to do our jobs is subject to extremely harsh conditions, so it needs to be replaced quite regularly,” says Deputy Chief Robert Daly of the Jersey City Fire Department and a board member of the Jersey City Fire Foundation. “This being the case, we’re particularly appreciative of Kearny Bank’s generosity. This new hardware will maximize our effectiveness, while also keeping us that much safer.”
