March 25, 2025
FAIRFIELD, NJ (Mar. 25, 2025) – FOR THE GIRLS – The Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey (GSNNJ), based in Riverdale, have received a $10,000 donation from Kearny Bank through the KearnyBank Foundation. The funds will be used to help expand the organization’s reach, with a goal of making the Girl Scout experience even more widely available to girls throughout northern New Jersey.
“In areas where we conduct business, we have a longstanding commitment to supporting worthwhile organizations – and the Girl Scouts more than qualify,” says Kearny Bank's Senior Vice President/Director of Engagement Veronica Ross, a 10-year member of the GSNNJ board who still serves on the organization’s finance committee. “We’re talking about helping girls build courage, confidence, and character, through guidance and mentorship. The Girl Scouts are wonderful.”
